Our roofing services
roof replacement
When a roofing system reaches the end of its lifespan, a full roof replacement is often the most cost-effective long-term solution. High Ridge Roofing & Gutters provides complete roof replacement services in Springfield, Eugene, and Bend, installing durable roofing systems designed to handle Oregon’s heavy rain, moisture exposure, and seasonal weather shifts.
We remove deteriorating materials, inspect underlying decking, and install manufacturer-approved systems backed by strong material and workmanship warranties. Whether replacing aging asphalt shingles in the Willamette Valley or upgrading a roofing system in Central Oregon to better handle snow loads, we build roofs engineered for long-term performance.
Roof repair
Not every roofing issue requires full replacement. Our roof repair services address leaks, missing shingles, flashing failures, storm damage, and moisture intrusion before they escalate into structural problems. Homes and businesses in Eugene and Springfield often experience moss-related wear and water penetration due to sustained rainfall, while Bend properties may see wind damage or ice-related stress.
Prompt roof repair can prevent interior damage, insulation deterioration, and costly structural issues. Our team performs thorough inspections to identify root causes and deliver targeted, durable repairs.
metal roofing
Metal roofing systems are increasingly popular across Western and Central Oregon due to their durability, longevity, and resistance to moisture and wind. High Ridge Roofing & Gutters installs standing seam and high-performance metal roofing systems for residential and commercial properties in Springfield, Eugene, and Bend.
Metal roofing performs exceptionally well in rainy climates and sheds snow efficiently in higher-elevation areas like Bend. Proper installation is critical to ensure long-term performance, and our team follows manufacturer specifications to maximize durability and warranty protection.

Secure Choice™ 5-Part Roof System
A new roof is a cohesive, coordinated system, consisting of 5 key components. In order of installation, they are: 1) ice and water barrier, 2) underlayment, 3) starter shingles, 4) roofing shingles, and 5) hip & ridge shingles. We call the complete system, Secure Choice™.
Installed together, the roof performs better, and can be eligible for enhanced warranty coverage via Malarkey Certified Contractors, which we are proud to be at High Ridge Roofing & Gutters.

01. Ice & Water Barrier
Extra protection for leak-prone areas.
Some areas of the roof are more prone to leaks than others, like roof valleys, roof edges, and roof-to-sidewall transitions, where rain, snow, and ice are more apt to accumulate. In these critical areas, Malarkey recommends an initial, extra layer of protection, called an ice and water barrier.
02. Underlayment
Vapor barrier beneath the shingles.
Delivered in roll form, underlayment, as the name implies, sits under shingles (over ice & water barrier) and provides a water-resistant or waterproof layer covering the entire roof. Malarkey offers various underlayments to accommodate differing performance requirements.
03. Starter Shingles
The first row of shingles fortifies the rest.
Starter shingles, placed at the eave and rake edges of the roof, are made with enhanced sealant and a modified size designed to extend up beyond the fastening point of the first course of shingles to fortify these more vulnerable shingles against wind uplift, shingle blow-up, and moisture migration.
05. Hip & Ridge Shingles
Added protection and dimension to the roof peaks.
The highest point on the roof is called the ridge; the others are called hips. These high points can often experience greater damage from events like hail and debris. Hip and ridge shingles provide extra impact protection, as well as extra roof dimension for curb appeal, at these more vulnerable, visible areas.
