Ice Storm Damage Roof Restoration Project
Project Overview
High Ridge Roofing & Gutters recently completed a comprehensive roof restoration project for a homeowner in Springfield, Oregon, whose roof was severely damaged during the major ice storm in January 2024. The storm caused a tree to fall on the roof, leading to significant structural damage.
Key Features:
- Skylight Framing Rebuild: Upon inspecting the rood damage we found that all of the framing around the skylights had dry rot from water leaks over a long period of time, so we had to rebuild the framing around the skylights to restore the strength and integrity of the skylights and roof.
- Shingle Installation: The entire roof was covered with new Malarkey Vista shingles, known for their resilience and high performance. The homeowner chose the Storm Grey color for a modern and cohesive look.
The restoration project not only addressed the immediate damage but also upgraded the home’s roofing system, providing enhanced protection and improved aesthetics. The homeowner is extremely pleased with the restored roof, confident in its durability and the quality of our workmanship. At High Ridge Roofing & Gutters, we take pride in our ability to respond effectively to emergency situations, ensuring our clients’ homes are quickly and expertly repaired.
